My stage

We all live every day in virtual environments, defined by our ideas. - Michael Crichton.

I am an instructional designer in E-Learning Management, Royal Roads University. I collaborate with subject matter experts, media designers and IT specialists to develop and deliver online courses. I also conduct action research to advance the practice of e-learning. My interests include discipline-specific solutions, computer-mediated communication and distributed collaboration.

In 2001, I established a consulting company - AvantLearning - to provide services in needs assessment, instructional design and education evaluation.
